360 Gamer brings us the depressing, but inevitable, news that some Forza Motorsport 2 players have been using the game's robust paintjob editor to adorn their cars with racist messages.
Both Microsoft and Turn 10 are trying to keep a lid on such behavior, shutting down auctions featuring offensive cars, but clearly they can only do so much as charmers like this one keep cropping up.
When 360 Gamer first ran this story, their readers seemed to feel that such decorations were a perfectly fair expression of free speech, and that acknowledging the behavior only encourages it. Free speech or not, the car certainly seems to violate Live's online policy, which says it's against the rules to:
Publish, distribute or disseminate any topic, name, material, file or information that incites discrimination, hate, or violence towards one person or a group because of their race, religion, nationality, transgender status, homosexual status, or HIV/AIDS status, or that insults the victims of crimes against humanity by contesting the existence of those crimes.
